The Ministry of Tourism is hosting a fifth edition of Malawi International Tourism Expo under the theme: “Ipatse moto, everything. Tourism.” from April 25 to 27 at Bingu International Conference Center in Lilongwe.
Public relations officer for Ministry of Tourism, Joseph Nkosi has said that this years tourism expo will have more exhibitants to give a platform to many entrepreneurship to interact with their fellows and international buyers.
“We have so far registered more than 100 companies that will take part in this years tourism expo of which some have booked 4 stands, some 5 stands.
“This shows that many are showing interest in this initiative and we are proud of that. This is an event that positions Malawi as a good tourism destination,” he explained
Nkosi has further said the first two days of the expo are dedicated for exhibitants to showcase their products to international invited guests while the final day is open for everyone to attend at a fee of K5000 whereas children and students will be allowed to enter for K1000.
Among other activities, people will be able to appreciate the quality of products and services that are being offered by several esteemed Malawians, traditional dances and a taste of local foods.
