MALAWI QUEENS BEAT FIJI IN STRENGTH TESTING TRAINING MATCH

The Malawi Queens today beat Fiji 60-49 in a training match played in Cape Town, South Africa.

 

The Queens are fine tuning ahead of Netball World Cup games set for throwoff this coming Thursday.

 

The team started the training match on a high leading the first quarter by 21-09.

The Queens dominance continued in the second quarter heading for the break with a 36-25 lead.

The team went on to overpower Fiji in the third and fourth Quarter respectively before claiming a 60-49 win.

The last time the two teams met at the World Cup was in 2018 where the Queens also beat Fiji 67-52.
