The Private Schools Association of Malawi (PRISAM) has called on the Ministry of Education to reconsider its decision to close Chaminade Marianist Secondary School.
The school was recently shut down following allegations of corporal punishment and governance challenges. PRISAM expressed concern over the closure’s impact on students and their education.
Speaking on Monday, Mphatso Nkuonera emphasized the importance of dialogue and resolution to ensure that students’ learning opportunities are not disrupted.
This development has sparked widespread interest, with stakeholders urging the Ministry to address the issues while prioritizing students’ welfare.
