Police Commissioner Urges Officers to Maintain Neutrality Ahead of 2025 Elections.

Commissioner of Police Barbra Mchenga Tsiga has urged police officers in the Eastern Region to uphold the law and maintain professionalism while carrying out their duties, especially as the country approaches the 2025 elections. She made this appeal during a visit to Balaka Police Station and Phalula Police Units, emphasizing the importance of impartiality and serving all citizens regardless of their political affiliations.
Mchenga also encouraged continued collaboration between the police and local communities, led by Senior Chief Chanthunya, to ensure a crime-free district. The Senior Chief assured the police of their full support and cooperation.
