Misunderstandings on the use of references from NRB in the registration process have been resolved at St. Augustine 2 Mwasa Ward in Mangochi district.

This follows a discussion which MEC had with the concerned people.

In an interview with Angaliba, Commissioner Olivia Liwewe said they have agreed that party representatives should all together verify people who have no National Identity cards and are using the documents before undergoing registration process.

She said every member who is not well known will also be asked to come together with the chief or landlord.

There were also some allegations that some people who are registering are under-aged and also some are not citizens of the area.

However, earlier on commissioner Dr Anthony Mukumbwa told Angaliba that no evedence was provided.

Meanwhile Angaliba has established that the operations are smoothly progressing.
